Our programs are designed for a broad community of learners, including:
Grief literacy helps communities respond to loss with skill, compassion, and confidence. In schools, it fosters safer, more compassionate learning environments where students and staff feel understood and supported. In health care settings, it strengthens communication with individuals and families, which can significantly impact trust, decision-making, and overall well-being. Across communities, grief literacy reduces stigma and helps ensure that people feel seen, supported, and less alone in their grief.
AWC Grief Support is committed to expanding grief literacy on a national scale. Through a range of education, training, and practical tools, AWC strengthens the capacity of schools, health care settings, workplaces and communities to respond to grief with skill and compassion. Our approach helps ensure grief is recognized, stigma is reduced, and individuals of all ages feel supported and less isolated through life’s most difficult experiences.
If you are seeking to explore ways of deepening grief literacy within your school, organization, workplace or community, please reach out to us to book a discovery call. Our team provides guidance, education, and consultation designed to build confidence, skill, and compassionate response to grief.
