AWC Grief Support

Welcome

AWC Grief Support is one of the largest grief therapy practices in Canada, offering therapy, education, and resources to help individuals (adults and children), families, and professionals feel supported, informed, and understood. Our work is grounded in compassion, clinical integrity, and a deep commitment to strengthening grief and death literacy across Canada and beyond.

We are a connected team of therapists located across Ontario. Our skilled clinicians offer therapy in-person (in their local communities) and virtually by phone and video (including to other provinces, where permitted).

All of our therapists are regulated health professionals.

We meet you where you are with skilled, informed guidance for:

Individuals seeking therapy

Caregivers navigating grief with kids or teens

Organizations building literacy or supporting teams after a loss

At AWC We Are:

  • Grief Literate: We do not view grief as pathology. Grief is a difficult yet natural response to a significant loss.
  • Trauma-Informed: Safety and skill are the heart of our work.
  • Developmentally Informed: We support children, youth and adults and know that the experience of grief changes throughout one’s life at various stages of development.
