Hilary understands how isolating grief can be. As someone who has experienced personal losses, including the death of a parent as a teenager, she is passionate about supporting people of all ages navigate grief, loss, and significant life transitions.
Hilary is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Masters in Relational and Family Therapy and has experience working with individuals, couples and families. Hilary’s background also includes facilitating support groups for grieving children.
Using a warm, thoughtful, and creative approach, Hilary strives to create a supportive space where clients can explore and make meaning of their experiences. Hilary also works with clients to connect with their strengths, what matters most to them, and explore ways forward that feel authentic and supportive to them.
Hilary’s approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. Hilary’s work primarily integrates narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy and strengths-based practices in a way that is tailored to the goals and preferences of each client.
