Jenn O’Connor is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Since 2001, she has supported children, youth, and adults in a variety of settings. Jenn takes a strengths-based, integrative approach, drawing from EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and attachment-based therapies to individualize therapy to each person’s needs.
She is deeply committed to helping individuals reconnect with what matters most to them and provides a compassionate, grounded space build self-compassion. Jenn has found EMDR to be an effective approach in supporting individuals with traumatic aspects of grief and uses this approach to help stabilize overwhelming symptoms.
She practices in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Jenn is am EMDRIA Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training and offers clinical supervision and consultation to professionals.
