Joelle Therriault - She/Her

Joelle is a Registered Social Worker and Certified Trauma Integration Clinician who brings a warm, relational approach to grief that is emotion-focused and thoughtfully paced. She works collaboratively with individuals, couples, parents and families navigating serious illness, bereavement, and life transitions.

Drawing on Narrative Practice, IFS, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion, Joelle tailors her trauma-informed, strength-based work to each person’s lived experience—supporting meaning-making, fostering practical coping strategies, and honouring resilience, culture, and identity.

With experience in community mental health, schools, camps, and independent practice,
Joelle also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, where she mentors emerging clinicians. Her approach centres safety, connection, and the belief that healing is possible with compassionate support.

Joelle practices at her Toronto office and virtually throughout Ontario.
