AWC Grief Support

Michelle Germain - She/Her

Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who supports adolescents and adults navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions. Her warm, steady approach helps clients understand grief as a lifelong process of integrating change rather than something to move past.

Michelle provides counselling in both English and French and draws on models such as Emotionally-Focused Therapy, the Grief Recovery Method, and Family Systems to help clients honour their stories while rebuilding meaning. She brings experience as a long-time hospice volunteer and is certified as an End-of-Life Doula and Grief Recovery Method Specialist, with additional training through the Families in Transition (FIT) Program supporting parents of transgender youth.

Michelle works from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, creating space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing. She offers sessions in person in Toronto and virtual care across Ontario.
