Tracy is a Toronto-based grief & trauma therapist and grief educator specialized in supporting individuals and families living with life-limiting illness, complex trauma or grief. A master's-level trained Registered Psychotherapist in good standing, Tracy has advanced training in adult bereavement, children's bereavement, spiritual care & psychotherapy, and mindfulness & mental health.
Tracy is a Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) practitioner and a Prolonged Grief Treatment (PGT) provider. She uses a relational, attachment-oriented and strengths-based psychodynamic approach that integrates elements of CBT, DBT and IFS ("parts work") to help clients connect with their resilience and capacity to heal. Tracy supports clients in understanding their grief, strengthening emotion regulation, working through questions of identity, meaning & purpose, and adapting to life after loss.
Tracy's past clinical experience includes work with hospice and palliative care teams, including supporting individuals requesting medical assistance in dying (MAID) and their families. Her end-of-life work is informed and influenced by Joan Halifax, Frank Ostaseski and BJ Miller among others.
